Citizens of Thailand planning to visit Ethiopia must obtain an Ethiopia e-Visa before departure. Ethiopia requires most foreign nationals, including Thai passport holders, to have a visa to enter, and the e-Visa can be applied for through the official online application system.

To apply, travelers need a valid Thai passport, a recent digital passport-size photo, a scanned copy of the passport bio-data page, and basic travel details such as accommodation and return or onward flight information. Applicants must also pay the e-Visa processing fee online. Once approved, the e-Visa is issued electronically and must be presented with the passport upon arrival in Ethiopia.
